Objective

On completion of the course, the students are able to identify and use common Finnish words and grammatical structures, and cope in simple conversations in Finnish. They will also be familiar with features of Finnish culture.

Content

Finnish pronunciation, everyday conversations, basic structures and vocabulary. Project in Finnish language and culture.

The student has achieved the course objectives on a satisfactory level. The student’s target language communication skills and cultural knowledge are limited compared to the content of the course.
