Building Enterprise Solutions Using Microsoft Azure (3 ECTS)

Objective

This practical, hands-on course will introduce you to the world of Microsoft Azure and modern ways for building enterprise-grade solutions in the cloud. The idea is to familiarize yourself with the different building blocks and how these services can be best leveraged to easily build and deploy solutions securely in the cloud. The different components provide a strong and solid basis for your future endeavours.

At the beginning of each session we will first see practical and theoretical background information and concepts. We will always strive to keep a practical approach in mind – no fluff! You will learn new technology and software concepts, and you’ll be positively challenged with new insights.

Make it real: Building the final solution

Qualifications

- Basic understanding of scripting and programming skills
- Familiar with cloud computing concepts such as virtual machines and identities
- Basic programming skills in C#/Java/Python (or a similar modern language) is a plus but definitely not a requirement!
