Learning outcomes
After the course the student is familiar with the operating principles and characteristics of a frequency converter. The student will be able to plan and size the electrical machine with appropriate converter for different applications. Students will learn the use of the frequency converter with practical exercises. The student will be able to perform the commissioning of a frequency converter drive system, and he/ she can do all relevant electrical and mechanical measurements.

His/her competences have developed in a way that he/she may complete the remaining studies in electrical engineering and automation technology and finally work in a suitable job position related to this field.
