Learning outcomes
The student will be able to describe the characteristics and the controlling methods of the electrical building services of commercial buildings.
The student will be familiar with the electric distribution systems, the switch board requirements and the installation regulations in different spaces.
The student will be able to select the distribution boards and standby systems according to the installation conditions, and to draw up the necessary documentation.
Content
Electrical drawings of hvac equipments in commercial buildings.
Major points of the standards SFS 6000 and SFS 6002.
Installation regulations in different spaces.
Selecting the safety devices.
The IP code of distribution boards.
The drawings of the distribution boards (single line diagrams, circuit diagrams, working drawings, numbered charts, assembly drawings and device lists).
The parties related to the planning, building and use of the distribution boards.
Frequency converters.
Standby and UPS-distribution systems.
Technical and economic criteria for equipment selection and comparison calculations.
