Content
- rehearsing tasks in Finnish, Swedish and English: grammar, reading comprehension and writing factual texts
- reading academic texts, writing factual texts in Finnish
- enlarging professional vocabulary in English and Swedish
- reading comprehension and listening skills in English and Swedish
- rehearsing speaking skills in Swedish
Prerequisites
Suomen kielen taito on aloitusvaiheessa vähintään B2-tasoa eurooppalaisen viitekehyksen mukaan.

Hyväksytty suoritus englannin ja ruotsin kielen opinnoista toisella asteella.
Teaching methods
These studies begin at 1st of February 2023. Studies are e-learning studies in MOODLE.
An information meeting for all students will be conducted via ZOOM on 2nd of February 2023 at 15pm
The studies include independent studies and collaboration with other students in ZOOM.

Introductions and evaluations
Communication (in Finnish): Tasks 1-5, approved performance in task 6
English language: Tasks 1-3, approved performance in task 4
Swedish language: Task 1, approved performance in task 2
Location and time
E-learning:1.2.2023 - 30.4.2023 in Moodle
The studies are mostly independent studies. However, there are tasks that have to be completed on a certain week.

Communications in Finnish: 2 credits, English language: 1.5 credits, Swedish language: 1.5 credits
Further information for students
The main language in the studies is Finnish. The course and the assingments are instructed in Finnish. Tasks in English language and in Swedish language are instructed either in Finnish or English / Swedish, depending on the task.
Language level B2 and above in Finnish is necessary for passing the studies.Common European Framework of Reference (in Finnish): https://europa.eu/europass/system/files/2020-05/CEFR%20self-assessment%20grid%20FI.pdf . Previous studies in secondary education (english, swedish) is essential for completing this course.
