Learning outcomes
Students will recognize abusive behaviour and violence as individual, communal and societal phenomena. They will be aware of the risks of abuse and domestic violence at different ages. Students will know how to initiate con-versation and support the different parties of abuse and domestic violence, also referring them to expert services when necessary.
Content
Abuse and intimate partner violence as individual, communal and societal phenomena. Abuse and violence and their risks at different ages. Honour crimes. Victims of of human trafficking. Legislation and services related to intimate partner and domestic violence. Initiating conversation with clients and empowering interaction.

In the orientation the Learning Circle groups will be formulated. The groups will decide on the schedules of 3 learning circle meetings (3x 1,5 hours) independently.

Maximum amount of students is 40 in this course. Priority groups are exchange students, SXH20S1 and SXG20S1 students, but if there is space left, others are welcome.
The Accreditation of prior learning must be done before the beginning of the course.
