Decision-making and Reporting in Nursing (3 ECTS)

Learning outcomes

Students understand the use of various perspectives and methods in evidence-based decision-making. They know how to use diverse data collection methods as a basis for their decision-making. Students can justify and evaluate the decisions they make based on evidence. They understand the phases of the rational decision-making process in nursing. Students comprehend the significance of their nursing expertise to the client-centred, multiprofessional decision-making. They are able to report verbally and in writing by utilising information and communication technology.

Students identify and know the concepts, approaches and methods related to evidence-based decision-making, documentation and reporting and know how to apply them to nursing.
Students are aware of the significance of legislation, multiprofessionalism and ethical principles to nursing.

Good:
Students are able to use the concepts, approaches and methods related to evidence-based decision-making, documentation and reporting as well as apply them to nursing justifying their use.
