Students master the principal methods of information technology and communication relevant to studies at UAS and in the work environment.

Equipment and local area network – techniques of information management
Information security and data protection
Email
Word processing and technical standards related to documents and learning assignments
Introduction to spreadsheet computation
Introduction to graphics programs and image processing
Internet – techniques and problems related to data searching
Introduction to website publishing – homepages and digital portfolio
Technical preparedness for network learning

Students identify the possibilities and the purpose of use of software programs. They manage the standard format and can produce extensive written assignments in accordance with Metropolia’s guidelines. They can produce presentation graphics.
