Objective

After completing the course, the student is able to assess and develop patient centered and patient safety clinical radiography by literature review based on researches.

Content

-Patient centered and patient safe clinical radiography according to ethical codes, law, guidelines and best practices.
-Literature review as a method for get research based evidence and as a tool to develop patient centered and patient safety clinical radiography.

The student demonstrates competence in the basic content of the course, but there are deficiencies in his/her ability to find and interpret information and to apply the learned content to the context of working life.

The student demonstrates good competence in the content of the course. He/she is able to actively search for information and to identify its connection to working life. The student is able to analyse and apply the learned content to the context of working life.

Opiskelija osoittaa osaamisen arviointikohteissa hallitsevansa monipuolisesti ja laajasti opintojakson sisällön. Hänellä on erinomainen tarkoitusta vastaava tiedonhankinnan osaaminen. Hän osoittaa tekemissään ratkaisuissa itsenäisyyttä, vastuullisuutta ja kykyä ohjata muita. Hänen kykynsä soveltaa oppimaansa työelämän kontekstiin osoittaa luovuutta ja laaja-alaisuutta.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Health Care (Radiography and Radiotherapy) or other applicable Finnish higher education degree (Bachelor's or Master's degree at a university or UAS) combined with a previously acquired vocational college diploma in radiography. Alternatively, an overseas higher education degree that corresponds to the previously listed Finnish degrees, combined with valid professional practice rights in Finland, or a directive certificate.
