Objective

Upon completion of the course, the student will know how to:
- Act ethically and assess the implementation of the ethical principles of equality and diversity in care of older people
- Influence the social status of diverse older people in different life situations
- Critically examine the change in care policies and services as well as its impact on older people’s status as those who need and use services
? Analyse the societal and global effects of national and international policy on ageing, and their significance from the perspective of the older people

- Principles of ethical elderly care and equality in care and services of older people
- Factors, opportunities and threats affecting the social status of older people
- National and international ageing and care policies

- Analyse and justify the social and global effects of national and international ageing and care policies and their significance from the perspective of the older people
