Aika ja paikka

Online session are scheduled on these dates:
- 11.06 Thurs, at 13-14.45 pm, and
- 25.06, Thurs, at 13-14.45 pm, and
- 9.07, Thurs (optional) Q&A session, at 13-14.45

Delivery of the course assignment (in 3 parts):
- 21.06, 05.07 & & 19.07 pm, grading immediately after last submission.

Online sessions and self-study based on the course materials and recommended books.

Learning outcomes of the course:
Student understands key concepts and phases of Project Management. The student is aware of the leadership role of the project manager, and knows how to draft the key elements of a Project Management Plan & control the project. Student is able to apply this skills to a project analysis. Student can critically evaluate and analyze the project results and report the project.

The language of tuition is English.

The studnets obtain and get acquainted with the recommended course books:

Opiskelijan ajankäyttö ja kuormitus

The student workload is appx. 75 hours of independent work on the course assignments and reading materials. In addition, appx. 5,5 hours of online connection (see the dates). In total, 3 credits (appx. 81 h).

- Project management key documents and tools
- Project leadership, team management & other project management skills
- Evaluating and measuring: project work, project skills and success.
- Project reporting.

Good overall performance: can apply and articulate concepts and information well both verbally and in writing, certain areas of individual or team output require further attention; shows appropriate level of interest and motivation in individual and team activities. Good presentation delivery and analysis.

Excellent performance in all elements of the course: shows interest and motivation in individual and team activities and assignments, fully applies and clearly articulates concepts and information both verbally and in writing.
