Objective
After completing the course, the students are able to:
• define the principles of design and product development to optimize the user experience.
• use their problem solving, collaboration and communication skills to identify the design drivers.
• justify the choice of materials and accessories suitable for the products and ergonomic design solutions.
• apply the principle of layered clothing to thermal comfort in design.
Content
Designing clothing suitable for optional sports or other functionally demanding use, taking into account the users, the use environments and the use situations. Methods and theories of user-centered design and service design. Technical materials and accessories, smart technology and new innovations.
