Objective

The student learns to recognise the needs and problems of a customer and is able to solve them using design and application development. The student is able to conceptualise and present their ideas, and make a work plan on the basis of which the student can implement the XR product designed for the client or realize their own business idea or work.

Content

During the course, the student will expand their XR and project working skills by applying and further developing acquired knowledge and skills. The course focuses on XR application design, conceptualisation and application development.

Opintojaksolla laajennetaan XR-osaamista ja projektityöskentelytaitoja aiemmin opittua soveltaen ja syventäen sekä keskitytään käyttäjälähtöiseen suunnitteluun ja käyttäjäkokemukseen toteuttamalla XR-ympäristössä toimiva palvelukonsepti.

The student identifies the customer, design, and application development skills required to design an XR product. The student is able to conceptualize and present his / her ideas and draw up a work plan. The student is able to implement an XR product designed by him. He has completed the duties approved.

The student identifies the customer, design, and application development skills required to design an XR product. The student is able to conceptualize and present his / her ideas and draw up a work plan. The student is well able to implement the XR product he / she has designed. He / she has completed the tasks of the course well and has been able to apply the learned things in completing them.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student identifies the customer, design, and application development skills required to design an XR product. The student is able to conceptualize and present his / her ideas and draw up a work plan. The student is able to implement the XR product, which he has commendably designed. He has completed the tasks of the course, applying what he has learned with particular merit.

Qualifications

The student must have completed the courses "3D Software, Polygon Modelling and Animation", "Game Engines and Real-Time Rendering" and "XR Technologies and Ecosystems".
