Taajuus: Editorial Work in Web Media (5 ECTS)

Objective

Opiskelija ymmärtää toimittajan työprosessin verkkotoimituksessa, joka tuottaa tekstiä, kuvaa, liikkuvaa kuvaa ja grafiikkaa. Hän osaa ideoida ja toteuttaa Taajuus-julkaisuun sopivia juttukokonaisuuksia. Hänellä on käsitys verkkotoimituksen tuotantomalleista ja työrytmistä. Hän osaa kantaa vastuuta toimitusprosessin kulusta sekä omalta osaltaan että kokonaisuuden näkökulmasta.

Content

Opiskelija työskentelee Taajuus-toimituksessa toimittajan, kuvaajan, AD:n, tuottajan tai päätoimittajan tehtävässä. Hän ideoi juttuaiheita ja toteuttaa juttuja päätoimittajan ja/tai vastuuopettajan sparraamana. Juttujen ja tehtävien kokonaismäärä suhteutetaan opintopisteisiin.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Participating the lectures.  Exercises done, some shortages.

Active participating to the lectures. Ability to adapt.

Active participating to the lectures.  Ability to adapt and reflect. Exercises done with new knowledge to the subject. 

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

Completing the course with a pass grade requires that a student has met the objectives of the course as defined in the course implementation.

The grade depends on journalistic and social media skills in writing and producing stories, accountability of the process, creative ability and attitude, self-initiative and activity in the work.
