Learning outcomes

The student masters the stage machinery systems and their properties, potential uses, operational principles and special requirements of the systems. The student knows the procedures and requirements involved in safe rigging and lifting. The student is able to comprehend the work process involved with the stage. The student understands uses of professional tehcnology as part of the performing arts. The student knows the professional roles in the field. The student understands the inherent safety risks regarding the systems in stage machinery.

Content

Devices and systems of stage technology and their operating principles, safe execution of stage rigging and lifting procedures, stage work process, safety risks and practices regarding systems in stage machinery.

Students know the specialist terminology and use it correctly. Students know the relevant safety practices. Students are able to find further information on stage engineering. Students can follow the given instructions in live projects.

Students are well versed in the concepts and fundamental knowledge of stage engineering. Students are safety-oriented and they are able to act independently in live projects. Students master the principles of technical planning and know how to apply them in practice.
