Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

In study and work situations, student can adopt the role of a receiver or follower.

Student can communicate effectively, credibly and appropriately in situations where the goal of communication or action is easy to reach. These simple situations consist of consecutive, separate phases and only a few variables.

Student’s English language proficiency is equivalent to Level B1 on the Common European Framework of Reference for languages (CEFR).

Assessment criteria, good (3)

In study and work situations, student can adopt the role of a manager or team leader.

Student can communicate effectively, credibly and appropriately in most professional situations that call for flexibility in communication, use of various communication channels, text types and styles of language as well as proficient contextual use of the key terminology of the industry.

Student’s English language proficiency is equivalent to Level B2 on the Common European Framework of Reference for languages (CEFR).

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

In study and work situations, student can adopt the role of a leader or designer.

Student can communicate effectively, credibly and appropriately in situations where the goal of communication or action is difficult to reach.

These demanding situations call for various communication skills, management of many simultaneous processes, cultural awareness, consideration for various perspectives, use of several communication channels, text types and styles of language and proficient contextual use of specialist terminology of the industry.

Student’s English language proficiency is equivalent to Level C1 on the Common European Framework of Reference for languages (CEFR).

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

In study and work situations, student can adopt the role of a receiver or follower.

Student can communicate effectively, credibly and appropriately in situations where the goal of communication or action is easy to reach. These simple situations consist of consecutive, separate phases and only a few variables.

Student’s English language proficiency is equivalent to Level B1 on the Common European Framework of Reference for languages (CEFR).
