Arviointimenetelmät ja arvioinnin perusteet
The course aim is to activate at least few different streams of students' activity regarding culture & sustainability values: interaction, cooperation, reflection, written argumentation and dialogue in conversation. That is why we propose a combination of 3 complementary final assignments (A + B + C = 5 ECTS). A.Teamwork. Every student becomes a member of one of the two teams and meets every webinar with teammates (a part of every webinar is provided as a teamwork virtual space [breakout room]/time. The team is discussing 2 texts every meeting, the texts are given in advance to two presenters who are preselected and who are responsible to make a brief summary of texts given (highlighting the best, most inspiring and the most controversial fragments of concepts). Every student need to have a role in team (presenter, reporter, final report co-presenter). The ’reporter’ who is selected in the beginning of each teamwork meeting and who is in charge of making notes from discussion of the team and later, at the final part of the webinar, presenting conclusion to the forum of both teams. The final meeting (webinar 4) is the time of presenting the summary of teams meetings. All students, who were not having a chance to be reporters or presenters are responsible to provide a final wrap up of the content that particular team members learned through the process of reading and discussing texts related to their title topic. The groups are: A) Festivals, cultural entrepreneurship and sustainability values B) Local communities, NGOs and artists’ practice - culture & sustainability values [ECTS: 2; Grading scale: 1-5] + B. Final individual conversation with the teacher based on the course content. This is delivered as 10 minutes final conversation of individual student with the course teacher as students' answers to 3 questions: 1) student's reflection on the one freely selected course topic / guest lecture content; 2) student's short reflection on the academic text or video material of her/his choice - freely selected by student from the materials given with the course (on the hoodle platform); 3) student's reflection of the prospects of the course content in her/his future practice, it's impact on student's future career; [1 ECTS] [ECTS: 1; Grading scale: passed/failed] + C. Written 3-5 p. course topic related short essay (based on literature or case study description) delivered by individual student. [ECTS: 2; Grading scale: 1-5] Attention!: the only number of ECTS delivered in this course is 5 [or 0] (there are no partial numbers available)
