Learning outcomes

After completing the course, the student • Knows the general prerequisites for studying at a university of applied sciences • recognize their own way of learning and studying and develop their study skills • can evaluate his own time management and self-management skills • understand the factors affecting student well-being and • knows how to set goals for building a balanced study life.

Content

The course consists of two sections, which are: 1) Studying at a university of applied sciences and study skills 2) Self-management and a balanced study life The themes and assignments covered in this course will help you understand what you are like as a learner and how you can organize your studies taking into account your own coping skills and life situation.

Opetus ja opiskelu tapahtuu TUNI Moodle- toimintaympäristössä (https://moodle.tuni.fi), josta ohjeet löytyvät. Opintoihin kuuluu oppimistehtäviä, joissa saat valmiuksia tunnistaa omaa tapaasi oppia ja opiskella sekä kehittää taitojasi opiskelijana ja harjoittelet ajan käytön hallintaa sekä itsesi johtamista.

Exam dates and retake possibilities

Ei tenttejä. Opintojakson hyväksytty suoritus edellyttää, että opiskelija on tehnyt opintojaksoon sisältyvät oppimistehtävät hyväksytysti.

Student workload

Opiskelijan työ 2 x 27h = 54h Moodle-oppimisympäristössä olevaan aineistoon perehtyminen ja itsenäiset tehtävät.
