The evaluation of the coursework (exams, tests, assignments) will be carried out by teachers Monday to Friday: Weeks 38, 40, 42, 44, 46, 48, 50, and 3/26. Student will progress through the Moodle learning platform via approved midterm tests and assignments towards the final exam permit. The exam permit will be available to students once they have successfully completed the required sections for the exam in the Moodle. The exam is taken in the EXAM system. If a student takes the exam before receiving permission to do so, the exam will be graded as failed and the student will lose one attempt. Below is the address for instructions on exam visits at different universities. https://exam.samk.fi/en/outgoing-exam-visits/ Student may choose to take only the exam, in which case they will be limited to an overall approved course grade of 1-3. If a student wishes to receive a higher grade for the course than the exam grade, they may also take a written assignment, which may raise the exam grade by up to two grades. Course exam in EXAM: numerical assessment 0-3 Students may take the exam three times. This allows they to resit the failing grade. The student can make up a failed exam twice. An accepted performance cannot be upgraded. The student must receive an approved performance (grade 1-3) on the exam before they can submit the written assignment if they wishes. Written assignment: possibility of grades 4-5. This assignment may increase the grade of the passed exam by two grades. NOTE: If you take the course exam after 12.12.2025, you will not have the opportunity to do the written assignment any more. Your exam will only be assessed after the end of the course. Student workload

The total workload of the student is 107 hours of independent study (materials, assignments, tests and exams) on the Moodle learning platform. This includes also the preparing to exam and and taking the exam in EXAM. The recommended workload for student is 1 credit = 26.7 hours. Completing the NONSTOP course requires time management and self-motivation.

Content scheduling

The course is implemented as a NONSTOP course, in which students progress according to their own timetable, following the instructions on the Moodle. Teaching methods

The course is delivered as Nonstop online studies. Using the Moodle learning platform, students study independently according to their own schedule with the help of various instructions, materials, assignments and tests. During the course, the student has the opportunity to request guidance from the teacher via email.

Written assignments of the course can be checked using the Turnitin plagiarism detection software. The course includes course feedback. Course feedback will be given in the Tuudo feedback program/via email link. Student will be given access to the course on SAMK's Moodle after the teacher has approved their registration for the course. NOTE! You must log in to SAMK's Moodle and the EXAM system with your SAMK ID in order to see the course and final exam. The course is suitable for students who are at an advanced level of their studies. The course also serves as complementary education for nurses who have already graduated. SAMK's students: Participation on the course requires at least 120 credits of studies towards a Bachelor's degree in nursing.
