Online workshop = pass/fail Exam = grade 1-5 Written assignment = grade 1-5
Student workload
The course is recommended to be completed in six weeks, and for each week a sequence of materials and assignments is given, with an average time recommendation. Ultimately, however, it is up to the student to decide the pace of completion according to their own circumstances.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2)
- The student can describe the steps of the research development process correct but briefly. - The student can compare different research and development methods by using realiable references for purpose. - The student knows the basics of quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis and can satisfactorily assess the factors affecting the reliability of different methods. - The student knows the research ethics principles in rehabilitation research and development and is familiar with the principles of open science.
Assessment criteria, good (3-4)
- The student can describe the steps of the research development process. - The student can compare different research and development methods by using critically assessed and realiable references. - The student knows the basics of quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis and can assess the factors affecting the reliability of different methods. - The student is able to apply research ethics principles in rehabilitation research and development and is familiar with the principles of open science.
Assessment criteria, excellent (5)
- The student can describe the steps of the research development process professionally in detail. - The student can analyse and compare different research and development methods and justify them by using reliable, high-quality and critically assessed references. - The student knows widely data collection and analysis of quantitative and qualitative research and can assess the factors affecting the reliability of different methods. - The student acts responsibly and proactively according to research ethics principles.
Teaching methods
The course is implemented online as self-paced online learning during 2.9.-5.12.2024. The course includes independent working and working with pair in your own phase. The course also includes 1 online workshop/person. There are 3 online workshops during this course.
