Teaching methods

The course is delivered online, including scheduled webinars on weekdays. You will also learn about social rehabilitation concepts and legislation by completing independent online assignments in the Moodle workspace. In a group assignment, you will explain and describe what social rehabilitation means as a social process supporting inclusion and agency, and as an interaction with vulnerable people. You will also describe and reflect on the structural elements, quality and effectiveness of social rehabilitation. The learning method will be the inquiry-based learning model, which aims to build an understanding of social rehabilitation by explaining the phenomena involved and their interrelationships and meanings. In accordance with the inquiry-based learning model, knowledge about social rehabilitation will be built during the course through collaborative sharing of ideas and reflection. Therefore, it is important that you participate in each webinar. Webinars are interactive learning situations and participation requires a working camera, headphones and microphone. Webinars create the conditions and basis for group work. The webinars will also include time to work with the group. The webinars will provide guidance and support for your work and progress on the course. If necessary, you can also contact the teachers via the Moodle discussion area. If you use AI in your assignments, please include a verbal description of how, to what extent and where you have used it.
