Teaching methods

The course content is divided into three main themes: - Design models and design principles - Requirements specification work - Modeling with UML notation The main topics are covers as lectures or material distributed in advance as a video lecture/other material. There are learning assignments and an exam. Additional reading is available for each topic, which complements the content of the lectures and helps you learn the topics needed to do the assignments and the exam. The study language of the course is English.

Virtual implementation Prerequisites for Web Accessibility Course: HTML 5: Understand the basics of creating web pages with HTML 5. CSS 3: Know the basics of styling web pages using CSS 3. Web Design Fundamentals: Have a basic understanding of how websites are designed for users. HAMK students register for studies in Pakki at the time shown in the implementation plan. Students from other universities of applied sciences primarily enrol in Peppi/Pakki. The course information (campusonline.fi portal) contains a registration form for students who are not yet able to enrol in Peppi/Pakki. Students accepted to the course from other universities of applied sciences will receive an email after the registration period has ended, with instructions on how to activate their HAMK user IDs. Note! the message may be redirected to the spam folder. Course feedback is given at the end of each course / module in Pakki. For more information on course/module feedback, see the student feedback page. Open University of Applied Sciences and CampusOnline students can provide course/module feedback via a browser at https://pakki.hamk.fi/spark. Enrolment: Open university students enrol via an enrolment form that is on HAMK’s webpage (Study options –> Open university –> Open studies). Our Open University has its own enrolment periods five times a year. 20 study places reserved for Open University Students. 30 study places reserved for CampusOnline students.
