Content scheduling

First you will study the basic concepts and principles of user interface, user experience and visual design. You will choose/brainstorm and describe a service and design user interface for it. You will also plan and host a user interface test.

Teaching methods

This is an online course. There will be three online sessions (Zoom). During those sessions we will have short lectures and team discussions/workshops. You must attend to minimum two online sessions. Also, you will have individual tasks and project. Some assignments will be peer-reviewed.

Further information

Prerequisite: Basic computer skills Campus Online: max 20 students HAMK students register for studies in Pakki at the time shown in the implementation plan. Students from other universities of applied sciences primarily enrol in Peppi/Pakki. The course information (campusonline.fi portal) contains a registration form for students who are not yet able to enrol in Peppi/Pakki. Students accepted to the course from other universities of applied sciences will receive an email after the registration period has ended, with instructions on how to activate their HAMK user IDs. Note! the message may be redirected to the spam folder. HAMK’s Spark feedback system opens 7 days before the course/module ends and it stays open for 14 days after the end date. You may give course/module feedback via Pakki. A notification of the courses/modules (to whom you have registered) for which feedback can be given appears on the desktop. You will always receive a notification on the student desktop when a course/module is ready for feedback. You will receive a reminder in HAMK's e-mail on the end date of the implementation, if you have not already given feedback before.
