Toiminnanohjausjärjestelmät (ERP) (5 op)

Tavoitteet

Opiskelija ymmärtää toiminnanohjausjärjestelmän (ERP) rakenteen ja toiminnot. Hän tietää, miten ERP auttaa häntä suunnittelemaan ja tekemään päätöksiä omalla liiketoiminnan vastuualueellaan. Opiskelija pystyy parantamaan kumppaniorganisaationsa johtamisjärjestelmää ERP-järjestelmän avulla.

- raportit ja suorituksen mittaaminen liiketoiminnan päätöksenteon tukena
- miten ERP hyödyttää päätöksentekoa - sovellukset opiskelijan omassa liiketoimintaympäristössä

(These days will be online if contact teaching on campus is limited autumn 2020.)

Sisällön jaksotus

1. Three contact teaching days 30.10., 20.11. and 11.12 during which interactive lectures and workshops, guest lectures, collaborative learning

2. Use of ERP (65 %): Online case exercises individually about different business processes with SAP S/4 HANA Fiori cloud-based system.

The exercises are published in the workspace after the course starts. Students can proceed with the exercises at their own pace but they are expected to submit them by the given submission schedule.

3. Applying and developing the use of ERP-systems (35 %)
Individual literature review and case study. The results of the study are presented and discussed 11.12.

Arviointimenetelmät ja arvioinnin perusteet

Individual SAP S/4 HANA case exercises (65 % of the total grade)
Students will receive 0 points for missed or after due date submitted exercises. Possible questions and problems that arise will be discussed during the contact teaching days or online. This is agreed separately when the course starts.

Individual literature review and case study. (35% of the total grade)
Report including literature review and an empirical case study. The results of the study are presented and discussed 11.12.

Min. points for passing the course is 50.

5 = Excellent performance in all elements of the course: shows interest and motivation in all class activities and course assignments/team project, fully applies and clearly articulates concepts and information both verbally and in writing. The student follows the instructions and is able to support his/her argument with references to the recommended reading and lecture content. Excellent presentation delivery and analysis.

4 = Very good overall performance or excellent in one and very good in another element of the course: shows interest and motivation in all class activities and course assignments, applies and articulates concepts and information very well both verbally and in writing. Very good presentation delivery and analysis.

3 = Good overall performance: shows can apply and articulate concepts and information well both verbally and in writing, certain areas of assignments/team project require further attention; shows appropriate level of interest and motivation in all class activities and course assignments. Good presentation delivery and analysis.

2 = Satisfactory performance: has completed all elements of the course and can apply and articulate concepts and information both verbally and in writing but may not have made enough effort. Certain areas of the assignments/team project are lacking in detail and require further input. The student could have demonstrated more interest and motivation for class activities and course assignments. Satisfactory presentation delivery and analysis.

1 = Sufficient performance: has completed basic requirements to pass the course and has made an attempt to apply and articulate concepts and information both verbally and in writing but has not made enough effort overall, the assignments and/or team projects are weak and require further input. The student has demonstrated little effort, interest and motivation for class activities and course assignments.

0 = Fail: has not attended the course or failed to complete one or all assignments/team project, has not met the basic requirements to pass the course.

Opiskelija on suorittanut opintojakson oppimistehtävät ja osoittanut niissä hallitsevansa opintojakson perussisällön. Soveltamisessa työelämän tilanteisiin ja/tai osaamisen jakamisessa on paljon parannettavaa.

Arviointikriteerit arvosanalle 3 hyvä

Opiskelija on suoriutunut opintojakson tehtävistä kokonaisuutena hyvin. Hän on ollut aktiivinen oppija yksilönä ja tiimissä. Opiskelija on osoittanut kirjallisuudesta, luennoilta ja muista lähteistä hankkimansa tiedon ja käytänteiden soveltamiskykyä työelämää analysoivissa ja kehittävissä tehtävissä.

Arviointikriteerit arvosanalle 5 kiitettävä

Opiskelija on suorittanut kaikki opintojakson osiot kiitettävästi. Hän on osoittanut mielenkiintoa ja motivaatiota oppia yksilönä ja tiimissä, ja hän on jakanut osaamistaan toisille. Opiskelija hallitsee opintosisällön ja soveltaa kirjallisuudesta, luennoilta ja muista lähteistä oppimaansa taitavasti työelämää analysoivissa ja kehittävissä tehtävissä.
