Learning outcomes
The student understands collaborative learning in music and creative activities from the learner’s perspective and can use this to develop their own pedagogical thinking. They can search for relevant information about music education as well as reflect on and share this with peers in oral and written forms. They can be flexible and constructive in interaction and group work also recognising and paying attention to learning trajectory of peers’. The student can reflect on concepts and different views on learning and teaching and observe these being employed in real life music education contexts they encounter. They can use the elements of music practice when constructing plans for a teaching situation as well as apply these plans in practice. They are aware of the underpinning holistic and creative approach to music education and can direct their own pathway to a deeper understanding of this landscape. They can reflect on their own pathway to become a music pedagogue.
