Learning outcomes

The student gets acquainted with works of songwriters and composers from different eras and styles. The student can analyse the musical content of the works and place them into historical and stylistical context. The student becomes familiar with the recording, mixing and production techniques by doing production exercises using reverse engineering techniques.

Lectures and seminar work on Fridays at 9:00–12:15 in room AK245. Reproduction and pastiche sessions in Arabia Studio according to a separate schedule (TBA). The schedule for the whole course period is to be confirmed in the beginning of the course.
The course begins on Friday, 6 September, 2019 at 9:00 in room AK245. Last day of tuition is Friday, 13 December.
Plus common seminar for all on Wednesdays at 13.00-14.30, room AK245 and Arabia-studio.
