Objective
Upon completion of the course the students have understanding of the possibilities of the use of open interfaces and open data. The participants are able to use open interfaces and and open data in their own programs as well as to provide open interface services for other people. The participants deepen their skills related to a development of web-based systems.
Content
Open interfaces implemented in Finland and abroad. Data represent technologies: JSON and XML.
Mashup-applications. REST API. Web framework.
At the end of a course students will implement a REST-based programming project.
