Objective
Students
- can explain the theoretical premises and ethical principles of health promotion
- can analyze population-based health behaviour and factors related to it
- can apply nutritional therapy and education to the prevention and care of national diseases
- can plan, implement and evaluate actions to promote health and functional capacity at individual, group and community levels in cooperation with other experts
- know how to use evidence-based and effective methods of health promotion
- understand the relation of social decision-making to national and international recommendations in the promotion of health and functional capacity as well as can name the follow-up methods of health behaviour and health services

Orientation compulsory
Vaccination competence studies in English on this course. This is web based vaccination course which is developed in Eduvac project in collaboration with four other country's universities.
