- apply clinical and decision-making skills to simulated situations
- know how to implement education promoting sexual and reproductive health to various groups

Situations calling for decision-making during pregnancy and childbirth as well as during the postnatal midwifery care
Initiating discussion
Education and counselling in midwifery

Classroom teaching:
Week 12: Preorientation.
Week 18: Orientation.
Week 18: Seminar
Week20: Parental education I, Parental education II.
Week 21: Seminar
Attendance at contact teaching is compulsory. More detailed schedule is given later.

Students must confirm their attendance for a course implementation by being present when tuition begins or in another manner agreed with the lecturer; for example, by returning the first course assignment.
