Supervision of clinical practice

Location and time

Practice weeks 11-16 at medical wards
Mandatory participation in Practice orientation lecture (see the schedules) - held at school before practice starts
Mandatory participation in Practice seminar (see the schedules) - held at school in the middle of the practice

Further information for students

Before the client orientated Clinical practice you need to complete:
1. Pharmacotherapy 1, and drug-.calculations passed.
2. Clinical nursing and clinical nursing skills (part 1and 2) passed.
3. Nursing of Chronically Ill patients theory, laboratory and simulation done, + drug calculations PASSED.
4. Pharmacotherapy 2: LABS 1 & 2 done + theory related to these.
Students are responsible for:
- Knowing clinical practice guidelines and requirements.
- Printing documents needed in clinical practice.
- Updating of Jobiili CV.
- Creating learning aims for clinical practice during the first days at practice.
- Handing in all needed documents for supervising teacher immediately after the practice period.
