Learning outcomes
The student will comprehend the laboratory quality systems (for example SFS-EN ISO/IEC 17025) and the significance of its components with regard to the reliability of analysis results. The student also knows the demands of proper documentation and filing. The student is able to visualize and interpret statistical data. The student knows confidence intervals, several statistical tests, regression analysis, and can apply these in solving typical simple applications of his/her own field. S/he can validate analytical methods: prepare validation plans, make statistical calculations and write validation reports. The student can perform service and maintenance duties of different analytical equipment and test the operational performance of devices.
