Objective

After the course, the students can:
• extend their skills in design to men’s clothing
• outline the fundamentals of collection planning. Their skills to design, co-ordinate, provide manufacturing instructions and master commercial collections are developed.
• utilize information technology when planning a collection
• give instructions regarding color shades for patterns as well as prints and embroidery for the model pieces.

Content

Following information on trend colors using fashion magazines, Textile Pantone color system information technology. Dressing up according to the etiquette. Assortment planning and product coding. Developing one’s own design method. In the learning assignments, assortments are planned for men for different purposes of use. Drawing outlines as starting points for giving instructions. Specialized planning and information technology in the field of fashion and clothing are used in assortment planning, providing instructions, and coordinating.
