Learning outcomes
After completing the course, the student will be familiar with backgrounds, manifestations and nature of central phenomena and current issues in cultural life. The student will be prepared to encounter the diversity of the field of culture and to operate in different working environments. The student will be able to follow current cultural debate and will understand the impact of changes in society on his/her own field of operation. The student will be trained in critical thinking, argumentation and acquiring information.

The student is familiar with current issues in cultural life and is able to demonstrate it in written assignments. She/he can follow discussion and attend it sharing some own thoughts.

The student is familiar with current issues and backgrounds in cultural life. She/he can follow and take part in discussion actively and essentially and can argument his/her own thinking.
Assessment criteria, excellent (5)
The student understands backgrounds of current issues in cultural life and can analyze them well in written assignments. The student takes actively part in cultural debate, can listen others opinions and argument his/her own thinking.
