Objective
Upon completion of the course students will be familiar with the physical and social study environment and the opportunities for participating in school community activities. The student will be familiar with Metropolia’s most basic guidelines, rules and study policies. The student will be able to develop their strengths and skills as students and professionals and to recognise their development needs. The student will be able to design their curriculum according to their career goals. The student will be familiar with their career opportunities and know how to improve their international skills. The student will be able to write a report according to Metropolia’s reporting practices and will be able to find information and cite sources correctly. The student will be able to prepare and deliver a convincing and expressive presentation. The student will be able to recognize the distinctive features of different types of communication situations and be able to engage in them appropriately.
