Objective

The student recognises the significance of design as a company’s competitive factor and as a part of the company’s strategic decision-making process. The student learns to detect new product possibilities and develops a comprehension of the development process of new products.

The student receives basic information on the different aspects of a controlled company image and its significance in the operations, product selection and services of the company from perspectives of both marketing and design. The student is familiarised with managing the products, graphic style of the company, physical environment and policies as a coherent whole. Additionally, the student receives tools for working as a superior and leading a working group or a team in its various situations and stages of development.

The student is able to utilize essential knowledge of design management. The student masters the key concepts of design management. The student is familiar with the product range in accordance with the company's design strategy. The student is familiar with the integration of design into business processes. He masters visual communication in corporate organizations. The student perceives team leadership and acting as a line manager.

The student recognizes and is able to describe well the importance of design as a competitive factor in a company and in strategic decision-making. The student is able to apply essential knowledge of design management. The student has an excellent command of the key concepts of design management. The student knows the company's design strategy in a wide range of products. The student masters the integration of design into business processes. He masters visual communication in corporate organizations. The student has a good understanding of team leadership and acting as a line manager.

The student is able to describe excellently the importance of design as a competitive factor in a company and in strategic decision-making. The student analyzes and critically evaluates relevant information about design management and applies it. The student has an excellent command of the key concepts of design management. The student is familiar with the product range in accordance with the company's design strategy. The student has an excellent command of the integration of design into business processes. He masters visual communication in corporate organizations and is able to apply it. The student has extensive control over team leadership and acting as a line manager. The student is able to produce new knowledge for the teaching.
