Learning outcomes
The student becomes acquainted with Metropolia University of Applied Sciences as a study environment and understands the structure, requirements, and objectives of the conservationist degree. The student grasps the teaching and guidance practices of their own degree program and the progression of studies. The student understands the significance of internationality and multiculturalism in their studies. The student has sufficient readiness to begin their studies. The student is familiar with the history and development of their own field of study.
Learning objective: Formation of professional identity, learning skills
Student will be able to handle information appropriately, identify the most common information security threats and be prepared to meet the requirements of working life in terms of information security skills.
Student will understand the principles of large language models and their advantages and disadvantages. They will be able to use AI in a responsible and ethical way in learning, taking responsibility for the content of their own work and following good scientific practice.

Student workload
The weekly working hours of a student is 1,5 cr which is equivalent to 40 hours of studies. 40 hours is formed from approx. 17 hours of contact studies with a lecturer. The remaining hours is spent by independent literature survey or practical work. 1 credit (cr) is equivalent to 26 hours (h).

The student understands the basic theme and idea of the course and has adequate learning skills for studies. The student understands the importance of the course for his/her study progress. The student understands the role of a conservator as a specialist in the field of cultural heritage.
