Objective

The student learns basic skills and understanding of mathematics that are needed to understand phenomena of physics and chemistry and technical applications.

Content

• Understanding of equations and functions is deepened and utilised in various applications
• Concept of derivative is introduced and used in engineering applications
• Applications of vector calculus

The student recognises the basic concepts and methods of the course and is able to solve simple tasks related to them.
