The student
• knows the specific features of the operating environment of social and health services and the different ways of organising and producing these services
• understands the importance of sustainability and responsibility in entrepreneurship and management in the social and health care sector
• understands the entrepreneurial attitude and the social relevance of entrepreneurship
• identifies private, public and third sector businesses and opportunities for entrepreneurship in the social and health sector
• understands the importance of productivity and profitability of organisations and enterprises in the sector
• is familiar with the key concepts and practices of management and local management
• understands the importance of management for the success of an organisation and a business.
