Materials
All the literature can be found in Moodle.
Teaching methods
Value-based radiography course is completed as online-course.
Lecture recording are in Finnish. The course includes articles in English.
Assignments are to be done in Finnish.
The course consists of:

This course doesn´t include clinical practice nor collaboration with working life.
Exam schedules
The deadline for assingments is 21st December 2025. If the assignments aren´t returned on the due date the students won´t be give any additional time.

The course cannot be completed in elective ways.
N.B! The virtual assignments of the course are part of the Value-Based Radiography course.
If the student completes SX00FZ80-3001 Value-Based Radiography 5 ECTS as an elective study, he or she must contact Heli Patanen, and the substitute assignments will be considered.
Student workload
The course is 5 ECTS which equals 135 hours of work.
The student's workload is divided between lecture recordings, reading research articles and writing assignments.
Content scheduling
The course consists of modules that open in a given order. Students have to finish one module before starting next one.
Further information
By completing the assignments of the online exam or online implementation, the student assures that the demonstration of competence is based on independent work and ethical action. Cheating can lead to a temporary expulsion from a university of applied sciences for up to a year. Universities of Applied Sciences Act 932/2014, Section 38. In order to ensure independent competence in the online implementation, the teacher may, at their discretion, require the demonstration of competence in supervised conditions or by means of an oral examination. The teacher informs about the method of demonstrating competence at the beginning of the studies at the latest.

The assignments and materials may not be used other than in their own studies. Their public distribution is only allowed with the teacher's permission.
