Objective

By the end of this course, students will be able to:
• Understand basic networking concepts, IP addressing, subnetting, and VLANs.
• Configure switches and routers.
• Implement fundamental network security measures.
• Design small-scale network topologies.

• Class 2:IP Addressing & Lab – Subnetting & IP Configuration
• Class 3:Switching – VLAN Configuration
• Class 4:Routing – Static Routing
• Class 5:DHCP & NAT – Implementation & Configuration
• Class 6:Introduction to Network Security – Basic Security Measures
• Class 7:Comprehensive Lab – Network Design & Implementation

Scoring Guidelines: Total Score: 5 Points

5 Points: Excellent – Meets all criteria with a well-structured, fully functional, and properly documented network.

4 Points: Very Good – Minor mistakes but overall well-designed and functional.

3 Points: Satisfactory – Some errors but the network is mostly functional.

2 Points: Needs Improvement – Several issues that affect functionality or security.

1 Point: Poor – Major flaws in design, implementation, or documentation.

0 Points: No submission or completely incorrect design.
