Objective

Student
- has basic mathematical skills to perform drug dosage calculations
- can perform drug dosage calculations required for the implementation of drug and fluid therapy.

Mathematical calculations
Unit conversions
Dose calculation and management of dose calculation factors
Infusion rate calculations
Drug dosing by weight
Preparation of drug solutions: addition of dry matter to liquid and dilution
