Objective
Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to
• understand, discuss and illustrate the issues relevant to firms engaging in international business
• have an overview of entrepreneurship
• describe the firm as an operator of business
• understand the effect of international trade institutions on business opportunities
• understand sustainability implications in setting business objectives
• analyse the firm’s business environment and competitiveness relating to its international business strategy
• recognise key challenges of sustainable development as well as independently research and apply related multidisciplinary information to an international business environment
• understand the fundamentals of responsible business and the competitive advantages related to sustainable business practices.

• has a good understanding of the concepts and models of the subject matter of the course and is able to carry out a reasoned analysis

• understands the importance of expertise in business and is able to analyse their own expertise.
