Objective
The student
• is able to act in various communication and guidance situations in a language-aware and equality-promoting manner
• is able to work in groups where participants have different origins, religions, beliefs, customs and language proficiency levels
• is able to observe and examine environments from a language-aware and non-discriminatory perspective
• recognises the structural background of social inequality and is aware of the power inherent in language and perspective choices
• is familiar with the basics of non-discriminatory pedagogy and is able to report on equality-related problems and promote equality
• is able to promote sustainable development in their work.
Content
• Promoting language-aware and non-discriminatory work practices, awareness of everyday language choices and their consequences
• Clear oral and written communication, the basics of plain language
• Recognising different forms of discrimination, taking intersectionality into account, anti-racist approach to work
• Promoting inclusion in work communities, developing equality-based practices
