Objective

The student knows the basic tools of audiovisual production, as well as the basics of shooting, sound recording and lighting. They can plan and carry out fieldwork as part of an audiovisual production. They know the basics of visual language and sound and their importance in storytelling. The student knows the safety rules and professional ethics of fieldwork.

Content

- basics of camera technology and visual expression
- knowledge and use of basic lighting equipment
- planning and execution of lighting and photography in basic shooting situations
- basic knowledge and use of field recording equipment
- safety at work
- potential of new audiovisual tools in the field

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The student attends classes satisfactorily. The student can use basic audiovisual production tools under supervision. The student can satisfactorily plan and carry out audiovisual fieldwork. The student knows the safety rules and professional ethics of field work.

The student attends classes well. The student can independently use basic audiovisual production tools. The student is able to plan and carry out audiovisual fieldwork. The student knows the safety rules and professional ethics of fieldwork.

The student attends classes with a high degree of excellence. The student is able to use the basic tools of audiovisual production independently and in a variety of ways. The student will be able to plan and carry out audiovisual fieldwork in a variety of ways. The student knows the safety rules and professional ethics of fieldwork.
