Objective
The student is able to carry out measurements with general measuring and data collection devices. The student knows how to calculate quantities and evaluate the reliability of measurements using a suitable method. The student can report the measurement results and the conclusions drawn from the measurements.
Content
Fundamental concepts of thermodynamics. Heat power and heat energy. Volume flow rate and mass flow rate. Static and dynamic pressure. Energy balance. Pumps and fans.Measurement of temperature, pressure difference, flow velocity, and volume flow rate. Use of data loggers in measurements. Measurement report. Processing and presentation of measurement results. Assessment of the reliability of measurement results.
