Objective

The student understands the principles of management from both the business and people management perspectives. Students will learn about the principles of planning and developing work in enterprises. They will learn to recognise the impact of changes in the environment on work and the work community.

Both Finnish and English will be used as working languages.

Students are free to take part in the course in Finnish and / or English. All learning tasks may be done in Finnish or English.

Course policy: No extra assignments will be given to raise grades after the fact. This is a firm rule. No exceptions.

The student can define the key concepts and models of the course clearly and is able to make well-founded analysis. The student has the ability to apply what they have learned in leisure, study, and work situations. The student understands the importance of expertise in the field of business and is able to analyze their own expertise.

The student has achieved the course objectives excellently. The student has a solid understanding of the course's key concepts and models. The student can analyze smoothly and logically, and is able to make well-founded analysis. The student has the ability to apply what they have learned in leisure, study, and work situations.
