Objective

On completion of the course the student is familiar with control mechanisms at different stages of a construction project.
The student can analyse built environment.
The student can observe inside and outside stresses on a structure caused by weather conditions and different activities.The students knows the principles of infrastructure construction. The students knows the principles of HVAC space reservations.

Teaching methods

he course is conducted as an online Moodle course (lecture material PDFs and video recordings will be uploaded to Moodle and assignments will be completed in the Moodle workspace). Note: there is no video recording of part 10, only a PDF file. The course does not have any face-to-face or distance learning classes, but everyone completes the course online at their own pace and adheres to the course deadline, when all assignments must be completed.

To complete the 5 credits of this course, the student must pass 11 discussion tasks (graded pass/fail), comment on the answers of two (2) other students in approximately 20 words for each discussion task, and answer the true/false questions of the graded task (graded 0-5). The tasks must be passed in order to move forward in the course.

Assessment methods and criteria

The final Assignment contains 24 true/false questions. Each question is worth one point, for a total of 24 points. The questions are statements in nature, which are answered true/false. The questions are not the same for all students, but the system randomly draws their own questions for each student. You may use materials in the assignment, but please note that the assignment is individual work. You can only do this assignment three times, so do it carefully and calmly with the time, but still respect the return date. You must get 12 points for the assignment to get a grade of 1. To get a grade of 5, you must get 22 points for the assignment.
