Objective

The student

• knows the importance of well-being and health promotion in reducing well-being and health inequalities

• understands the basics of emergency first aid and is able to respond in common medical emergency and accident situations.

Degree Regulations, Section 34 – Retake and Grade Improvement
A course can be retaken in the retake and improvement sessions defined in the course implementation details. A student has the right to retake a failed course twice and a passed course once. The same assessment criteria and principles apply to retakes and grade improvements as to the original assessment. Grades cannot be improved after the degree has been completed.

Absences must be compensated in a manner defined by the teacher.

The use of artificial intelligence in assessed assignments is prohibited. Using AI is considered academic misconduct. Students must familiarize themselves with Metropolia’s AI guidelines and adhere to them in their coursework.

The course uses a Moodle workspace. The course key will be provided via OMA before the course begins.
