Objective

Upon completing this course, student understands concept of data driven decision-making, need of measuring key performance indicators and effective reporting. Student can apply business analytics skills to real life cases, use BI-tools in practice and solve problems with automation and applications.

Descriptive, diagnostic, predictive and prescriptive analytics
Business Intelligence-, data-mining- and reporting tools in use
Automation and business applications with low-code tools

This course is aimed for one that has immigration background and speaks Finnish in B1-level. Teaching in slow, plain Finnish (called selkosuomi). Lectures are at the day-time and requires active participation. Course requires a lot of time used outside the classroom. Studying requires accounting skills, previous education or work experience.
