Objective

The students will be able to describe the 3-dimensional form and the space with various techniques. The students are able to express their own creativity with the tools of arts and later on they are able to use creative visual thinking as a part of their professional designing process. The students adopt continuous sketching as a part of perceiving, exploring, and thinking.

Content

- exercises related to information, perception and visual skills using different tools and materials.
- exploring and assessing one's own visual expression.
- advancing the grammar of visual art through conducting art analyses as a group and visiting exhibitions.

Teaching methods

Classroom teaching in art classroom 344 (Coloria). A minimum of 80% attendance is required to pass the course.

The student is able to describe three-dimensional shape and space with an art technique. The student is able to create and express his / her own ideas through art and later utilize creative thinking as part of the professional design process. The student is able to sketch continuously as part of observation, research, and thinking.

The student is well versed in continuous sketching as part of observation, exploration, and thinking.

The student is able to describe a wide range of three-dimensional shape and space with various art techniques in a variety of ways. The student is able to create and express his / her own ideas through art excellently and later utilize creative thinking as part of the professional design process. The student has an excellent command of continuous sketching as part of observation, research, and thinking.
